Metrics and Targets

The Company has established comprehensive risk management systems, policies, and management guidelines covering operational risks, financial risks, market risks, compliance risks, and other risk categories. Through risk management procedures including risk identification and assessment, impact measurement, response and adaptation, and monitoring and reporting, the Company implements enterprise risk management. To ensure the effective operation of the risk management mechanism, the Sustainability Committee reports quarterly to the Board of Directors on the progress of sustainability-related plans, including material issues and related plans concerning the Company's operations in environmental, social, and governance aspects and their associated risk management. In addition, given the importance and specific nature of climate change issues, the Sustainability Committee submits ad hoc reports to the Board on matters such as environmental performance and targets, as well as climate change response and control measures, in order to respond more promptly to climate-related risks and opportunities.

In response to climate change-related risks, Sunon manages these issues through quantifiable metrics and clearly defined targets to ensure that both transition risks and physical risks are incorporated into operational decision-making and performance tracking mechanisms, with regular reporting to the Board of Directors for monitoring and oversight. At the same time, the Company continues to evaluate the feasibility and implementation pathways of internal carbon pricing mechanisms and TNFD-related nature-related risks and opportunities, conducts cross-departmental discussions, and advances data inventory, scenario analysis, and governance framework planning.

Physical risks Increase in average temperature Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions Reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 50% by 2030.
Renewable energy usage ratio Achieve a renewable energy usage ratio of ≥ 50.4% by 2030.
