The feelings we hold for our hometown are like an invisible bond, closely tying our hearts to every inch of this land. It is because it carries people’s pasts, their roots, and their precious memories.

The 2025 Charity Blood Donation Event organized by the Kaohsiung Headquarters has successfully concluded! The event attracted many colleagues and their families who enthusiastically participated, collectively donating 168 bags of blood (152 bags from the Kaohsiung headquarters, 14 bags from Taipei, and 2 units from the separation procedure), injecting a warm current into society.

SUNON's annual Family Day was held on August 2, 2025, at E-DA Theme Park in Kaohsiung and the National Taiwan Science Education Center in Taipei. With Kaohsiung as SUNON's headquarters, the main event was grandly held at the E-DA Royal Theater. To ease travel for northern employees, a parallel event in Taipei offered fun games and educational experiences.

Since its founding, Sunon has remained deeply committed to corporate social responsibility and public welfare. This blood donation campaign aims to raise awareness of the ongoing need for blood supplies, while encouraging both employees and the wider public to take part in selfless blood donation and contribute to society. Sunon’s founder, Mr. Hung Yin-Shu, once said: “Charity and public welfare are not unattainable dreams. I believe that no matter the task or the industry, as long as you do it with dedication and perseverance, it will eventually move people.” Sunon employees keep this philosophy close to heart, continuing to embody the Sunon spirit by planting the seeds of kindness in every corner of daily life.

The annual autumn blood donation event jointly organized by Sunon Group and Sunon Charitable Foundation,this year with the theme of "Hi Sunon North-South Series Hot Blood Support, Nothing Can Be Done without You" was held at Sunon Kaohsiung Headquarters on October 27. Sunon also called on colleagues in the Taipei office to go to major blood donation centers in the north on the weekend of 10/28-10/29 to participate in this charity blood donation event.

After the Pandemic, SUNON had its first big social event, the FAMILY DAY, at the Taipei Zoo, on July 29th, and in the Weiwuying Metropolitan Park, Kaohsiung, on the 5th of August. SUNON’s welfare committee organized a variety of activities and services, such as a bouncy castle for the kids, food trucks, the Marvels Shows, carnivals, and the most exciting lucky draw game to encourage SUNON staff and their families to engage on the weekend Day.

SUNON Foundation collaborates with SUNON to promote blood donation in the offices on the 14th of October, 2022. The topic of the event is about giving blood that symbolizes water to saplings to grow, appealing to all colleagues in both SUNON Headquarters and Chungcheng office to donate their blood. SUNON Foundation arranges blood donation events every autumn, but the event was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When signs of easing and restrictions lifted conditionally this year, we gather together to resume involvement in charities as our former funder used to do with his hands-on leadership to offer services to the public. We as SUNON people still have inherited public-spirited preferences in our minds.

Five hundred residential fire smoke alarms were donated to the Qianzhen Fire Brigade for installation. With assistance from the brigade, the alarms were installed in households registered by the Social Affairs Bureau as low-income and middle-to-low-income families within the district, helping to improve residential safety for vulnerable groups.

Working at the very forefront—maintaining public order while strictly implementing pandemic prevention measures—requires not only physical strength and endurance, but also a substantial and ongoing supply of protective equipment and materials. Sunon hopes that through financial donations, we can support hardworking frontline police officers and firefighters by helping them procure much-needed epidemic prevention supplies and equipment. These resources serve as a strong protective shield, enabling them to safeguard themselves, maintain their strength, and continue protecting public safety.

The first large-scale event of the 40th anniversary celebration of Jianzhun, Family Day, joyfully kicked off on August 1 at the Royal Theater of E-Da Theme Park in Kaohsiung. The year 2020, affected by the pandemic, was a particularly special year for the world and posed the greatest challenge for Jianzhun, marking a pivotal year for the company. From the beginning of the year until now, all employees have bravely faced challenges. Despite the sudden pandemic disrupting the entire layout, the company has managed to stand firm and achieve remarkable results during this crisis, thanks to the collective efforts of all staff.
