▲ Group photo moment—everyone briefly removed their masks to share bright smiles

Sunon’s first major event celebrating its 40th anniversary, Family Day, was joyfully held on August 1 at the Royal Theater of E‑DA Theme Park. The year 2020 was an extraordinary one worldwide due to the pandemic, and for Sunon, it marked a pivotal milestone—forty years of legacy and transition—accompanied by unprecedented challenges. From the beginning of the year, all Sunon employees bravely faced these challenges together. Despite the sudden disruption caused by the pandemic, the company remained resilient and achieved strong performance amid the crisis. These accomplishments were made possible by the unity, dedication, and collective efforts of every employee.

On the day of the 40th Anniversary Family Day, Sunon employees, wearing masks and guided by carefully planned health and safety measures, gathered with their families to enjoy a day filled with joy and laughter. Through the theme park activities, employees and their families experienced a refreshing atmosphere that helped relieve the physical and mental stress brought on by both work and the pandemic. Everyone joined together to sing “Happy Birthday to Sunon Electric – 40 Years,” before spending a wonderful day exploring the park with family members and colleagues. The event not only celebrated the past four decades, but also helped recharge everyone’s energy and spirit—preparing Sunon to face future challenges with renewed strength.

2nd Stop of the 2026 Inspirational Care Act: Changzhi, Pingtung
Our second stop is Changzhi, Pingtung.
Changzhi, Pingtung, was formerly known as “Changxing.” During the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty, immigrants from Guangdong came to cultivate this land. The name was inspired by the wish for “lasting peace and enduring prosperity,” and was later changed to “Changzhi.” It is a simple and sincere township centered on Hakka culture while also blending Minnan traditions. It is also home to the Agricultural Biotechnology Park, an important base for Taiwan’s agricultural biotechnology industry.

First Stop of the 2026 Inspirational Care Act: Dashu, Kaohsiung
The first stop of our 2026 Inspirational Care Act brought us to Dashu, Kaohsiung.
When we think of Dashu District, what comes to mind most vividly are its pineapple fields stretching across the hillsides and its sweet, heartwarming Yu Her Pau lychees.
The essence of charity lies in the meeting of one life with another. When we bend down to hand over supplies, we learn humility. When we step into rural communities, we broaden our horizons.
